The main entrance and approach to the property is spectacular with white fences and landscaped trees leading you to the farmhouse and the rolling hills and fields. Notable is the dramatic landscape rarely found in such a well maintained state. It is obvious the property is in the care of a true land steward, and pride of ownership abounds in the details of the landscaping, tendering and gardening. The eastern portion of the farm rises up to higher pastures and a mixed hardwood forest with a composition of maple, oak, cherry and is the haven for a large population of deer and turkey. Three ponds are located on the farm each stocked with different species of fish. A bass pond, a catfish pond and a Koy pond are here for family fun. The Knights creek stream also winds through the south edge of the property close to the farm house for additional fun and recreation. There are wide plank hardwood floors throughout the house that lead through a large dining room and a huge great room with a main floor laundry and office. Upstairs is the owners suite and four more large bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and beautiful views from each window of the farm in all directions. There is also a huge bonus loft area that has been improved to a children's bedroom and play room. The basement has a complete canning center for preparing and preserving the bounties from the garden. GUEST HOUSE: A quarter mile north on the property is a fully furnished three-level guest house with its own pond and large deck. With its own private views of the north pastures, the guest house has a lodge dÃcor with a stone mantle and fireplace, an open concept main level for a chalet or rustic appeal. The loft is a bunkhouse for several guests, while the lower level is an additional space for entertaining with a complete bar and wood stove. Used as a lodge for deer season, the guest house would be an excellent Air BnB opportunity or residence for in-laws. BARN: The barn is a massive two story 9600 sqft building large enough for all and any farm equipment. Concrete floors, electricity, water, a bathroom, and a fully accented meat/deer processing center with a walk in cooler are all part of this well planed outbuilding. A 112 foot long x 14 foot lean too runs the east side of the barn for additional storage of equipment, wood or recreational vehicles WILDLIFE: The farm possesses a variety of wildlife habitat and ample water sources, providing everything needed for the large populations of whitetail deer, turkey and even black bear that call the farm home.
